This winter has been endless. Not that it was especially
cold or full of snow, but somehow Spring was withheld.
One sunny day was followed by endless gray, cold, rainy
ones.

This magazine took us a long time. As if it wanted to be
only ready now, when the trees finally exhibit their fresh
green leaves, when the sun warms the people sipping
coffee on the streets.

We finished number fourteen (14) of our magazine. I
hope you, dear reader, agree with me, that the delay was
worth suffering through. It is important to us to make a
high quality magazine, in content and design.

Fashion. That was the topic for research that past month.
Fashion – that’s the skin on top of our skin. Fashion is the
display of our identity. Fashion is meant to exhibit our
individuality and much too often is just another uniform
blending us into the norm.

We peeled this skin. We looked at what lies below.
Beautiful things, ugly things alike.

We feature one of the most renowned fetish photographers from the German scene, a dinosaur I have to say. Roman was already established, as I started to explore BDSM, about 25 years ago.

Fashion can be stiff and form the body – like a corsage from TO.mTO. Fashion can be a tool to inhabit a different persona, as for Tua. Fashion – that can also be the “tie of the month”, a specific custom that the majority propagates. What does it mean, to be “in fashion” or “out of fashion”? And how does dressing up in a specific garment impacts our mood when we tie?
